i recently went to the doctor because I get a stabbing feeling...cluster headache?
I recently went to the doctor because I get a stabbing feeling in the back of my head a lot. Sometimes it lasts 15 minutes other times it lasts hours. I never get a fever but I do get lightheaded and very dizzy to the point that I cant see very straight. I get these headaches normally early in the afternoon (by 3pm im feeling it a little) and it becomes worse if I stay on the computer too long. The doctor told me I have cluster headaches but the problem is I have never had a migrane and i am 99.9% certain that what I have is not a migrane and I've been told that cluster headaches are worse than a migrane so I am beginning to question my doctors theory. Im not sure what is wrong with me but it is rather annoying. I become very dizzy and cant see straight at times and get sharp pains in my head. Have been feeling this way for about a month. What do you think can be wrong?

1. Sounds like a migraine to me. I had a migrane before and I have never had one before. Try Head On Migraine I heard it works wonders. Good luck.
2. I always feel sympathy for someone whom has headaches (being a fellow sufferer myself) i have had cluster headaches and migraines since I was a child, so I can relate that it is worrisome and irritating when a Dr. just pats ya on the back gives u a quick diagnoses, a large bill ,then ships you out the door. My advice is if you feel that your headaches are not a usual headache then don't give up on a better diagnoses, because only you know what your feeling in your head. Be persistant with your Dr. to do an MRI, that will at least get rid of some of the worry of a possible tumor or aneurysm, which not to worry you or anything but is quiet common especially when you say that you can't see straight at times, and that you have just started having these headaches. At least you will know, then can maybe move on to the possibility that it has to do with migraines or maybe straining your eyes at the computer. I have dizzy spells as well that sorta make me feel like I'm blacking out at times, they are very scary. I as well can't sit at the computer for too long or even play a video game, because of this. I was persistant and didn't give up until my dr. sent me to a neurologist, she has done far more testing on me to determine what is wrong. Headaches are hard to determine but I think you should get the testing done just to be sure. Hope you start feeling better :)
