I Have Pain Near My Knee When I Put Pressure On The Ball Of My Foot?

Ever since i fell two days a go i cannot put heavy pressure on the ball of my right foot, it doesn't bother me when I'm walking but when I'm walking up or down stairs it hurts as it puts pressure on the ball of my foot, but the weird thing is that the actual pain is not in the foot but is near my knee, i may have landed on my knee when i fell but what would cause pain in my knee area when I put pressure on the ball of my foot?

There is no bruising or swelling and when i touch or put pressure on the area of my knee it doesn't hurt I've rested it for 2 days and it doesn't seem to have got any better.

Do not say i have a disease or something stupid like cancer as this is clearly a physical injury

I haven't got a clue whats wrong, it may be a trapped nerve or a slight dislocation, i simply don't know

Thanks In Advance :)

1. Hmm... Have you tried removing the arrow?

2. Tom, the answer to this is simple. You fell stating that an impact occurred at the knee. When you place pressure in the foot this pressure is transmitted up the tibia to the knee where it continues upward. A bone bruise might not show up with any black and blue markings but that doesn't mean it isn't hurt. Keep the leg moving and in a few days there should start to be an improvement. You can help it by placing warm, not hot, compresses on the area. This will help to allow the blood flow to take away the irritants and speed up the recovery.
