Endometriosis and Fibromyalgia recipes!?
I'm currently 16 years old and have just been diagnosed with chronic endometriosis (proven through a laperscopy) aswell as fibromyalgia. That pain has been so bad that I have had to stop going to school ( now home schooled) and spend most of my days at home. For a social/active 16 year old this is incredibly hard to do.
I have been very good with my diet, but i'm running out of ideas!
I have searched the internet high and low, and only came up with 2 recipes that fit both the endometriosis diet, as well as the fibromyalgia diet. I would really appreciate it if anybody had some recipes for me!
(please note that I can't have peppers or tomatoes either, as I have acid-reflux)
Thank you so much!

2. That's an intense combination, gradual pain development and endometriosis ouch having periods on other parts of your body. I have heard meditation has help many people reduce pain, I know it sounds all gibberish, but it's actually true. There has been documentary about it. It's not all about diet. You have to exercise and stretch to increase your bone strength and overall health. Get the blood pumping to areas of your body. These illness is not always from environment and bad health, but also genetics =(
What a painful life god bless I hope you feel better..
3. I am about 17 and I have endometriosis and fibromyalgia, and I know for a fact that there isn't a diet to correct these and make these go away. The fibromyalgia is a chronic pain that affects the nerves. The only way to help that is to find a routine that can reduce the pain as much as possible, such as physical therapy and a pain medication, or the like.
I'm also homeschooled and I know what you mean about how hard it is. My fiance had me do a multitude of diets to see if it would help ease the pain, and even though i knew it wouldn't work, I still tried. There is no diet or anything of the like that will magically make your life go back to normal.
4. if you have endo at your age, there is a good chance you have an underlying hormonal imbalance...
fms is highly overdiagnosed--most people actually have something different altogether....
there are no fms diets...all you need is a generic healthy diet...the only time you would respond to a special diet is if you actually had a food sensitivity instead of or in addition to fms....
5. This article can guide you to a recipe cookbook specifically for Fibromyalgia: http://www.squidoo.com/living-a-life-with-fibromyalgia
Good luck with it!
