how do you relieve the pain and pressure associated with (what I believe to be) a tension headache?
I have had this headache for about one weeks time. Although the pain fluctuates in severity it is always present. I can feel a tightness in my neck, shoulders and throbbing all on my head and ears. It is irritating and makes me feel like sleep is the only cure.
I have an anxiety disorder and have been worrying constantly, about the smallest of things, which even with anxiety and panic is abnormal for me to worry this much.
Any immediate cures or suggestions on how to relieve the pain and pressure?

1. I've actually had this same type of headache for about the same duration. I suspect that it can be, and is due to worrying and stress, although allergies are probably the main culprit. I'm not sure what the weather is like by you, but inconsistency and erratic changes in temperature and air quality can do it. A simple thing as aspirin or allergy medication can do the trick, but if they don't work, I really would just pay the doctor a visit, or try to maintain the temperature and atmosphere in the house by using an air filter and conditioner.
2. If your on antidepressants you need to tell your doctor about the side effects that they have started to cause you or and you could find out on google. Otherwise Syndol is good for that symptom, but you cannot take them for more than 3 days or you will end up in a cycle/rebound. Allot of painkillers are highly addictive and build up into the immune system, which means that they end up causing the symptoms that you already have in the first place.
3. I have this right now, and went to the doctors the other day have you been to the doctors? they should give you some tablets which you take at night, and the pressure SHOULD go away. if you not, you need to go back to the doctors, they will either up the dosage or look into it further. I sometimes put a warm flannel on my head, which i find releases some of the strain.
