Anyone know why I have chronic knee pain?

Kay so... My knee hurts a lot, like to the point where it's almost unbearable. This happens every night, only at night, and when the pain comes, a bruise appears where it hurts. I sometimes get a fever when it starts hurting. I already went to the doctor to get tested (got an x-ray) and they never called me to tell me what was wrong; so I called the hospital and they said they found nothing. If it matters, bone troubles do run in my family.

1. Perhaps look up OSGOOD-SLATTER DISEASE. My daughter has it in her left knee. She had pain...sometimes swelling.

Worth reading up on!

2. Go and see a physiotherapist.

3. I would honestly get a second opinion from a different doctor. There should not be bruising for no reason. Are u athletic, flat footed or have any trama to that knee recently? U could have runners knee or maybe fluid retenton around then knee causing pain.

4. check into this new treatment that was on Dr. Oz
