Why is it that every time i have a headache the back of my neck/head makes these crackling noises?

Yeah I usually get a headache every two weeks or so and when i do i hear/feel this crackling noise in the back of my head where there's a slope connection to my neck whenever i turn my head
It's also accompanied by slight pain in the area
