Ford, Chevy, or Dodge?
I'm buying a new truck and I'm stuck on which one I should get.
Either a 2011 Ford F-150, 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500, or 2011 Dodge
RAM 1500. I'm mainly gnna use it to drive to school and back, maybe mud a little and I need a truck thts good on gas mileage and won't get major problems real quick.
But after I get it I'm gnna put all this stuff on it:
Grille Guard-$450
KC lights-$200
PA system
Flowmaster Super 44 exhaust
K&N cold air intake-$270
headache rack
bedrails
Toolbox
Deluxe Stepbar
Pocket fender flares
Black out head & tail lights
Halo headlights
37" Nitto MudvGrapplers
20" Rockstar rims
6" lift

1. Go "Ford", & the cheapest Model you can find. You'll save a FORTUNE on maintenance & Repairs- in the Long Run. :)
2. I'd go with Ford myself, very solid trucks and I've been a Ford person my whole life. plus they didn't take any bailout money so i support them even more. There are many good prices on them. really though any of these models will take care of you if you take care of it but Ford is tops for me!
3. It depends, the least expensive V8 or turbocharged V6 is the Silverado, but that comes with a 4.8L V8. My friend has one ext. cab with the active piston shutoff (stops firing on 4 of the cylinders) and he can get 24 mpg. But if you want power and MPG get the Eco-boost V6 F-150 they get pretty good gas mileage but I question its reliability. It is going to cost more to do regular maintenance cause of those turbos. I would try to stay away from Mopar unless you are going diesel. They do have a strong hemi V8 package but they still have trouble with the transmissions.
But if you want to go off roading it is best to chevy or dodge they are fairly equal (dodge is a bit easier to lift) make sure you get a locking differential those are amazing to have. And don't get a headache rack it would be better just to get a roll bar.
i have always been a chevy guy and yes ford sells more trucks but during cash for clunkers the F-150 was #2 (2wd) and #9 (4wd). just saying...
4. Ford of course
the others are either owned buy the government or a foreign car company, Ford is the only one that is still has full control
5. All of this fits perfectly the ford. The Ford has great fuel economy and lasts long. The dodge has awful transmissions and the Chevy waist to much gas.
6. Before buying fender flares for any model, check out Jungle Fender Flares cuz you'll save a bundle.
7. 2011 Dodge Ram 1500! I love the way the stock model looks so I can only imagine how good the vehicle will look once you add all of the accessories you have listed.
Good Luck!
