Ford or Toyota?!?!?!?!?!?

My mom is buying me a new truck at the end of the year and she's giving me only 2 choices.
A 2011 Ford F-150 Fx4 fully loaded or 2011 Toyota Tundra 4x4 fully loaded, I'm also planning to add all this to it.
Grille Guard
KC lights
PA system
Flowmaster Super 44 exhaust
K&N cold air intake
headache rack
bedrails
Toolbox
Deluxe Stepbar
Pocket fender flares
Black out head & tail lights
Halo headlights
37" Nitto Mud/Trail Grapplers
20" Rockstar rims
6" lift
Which truck would all this look bttr on?

1. Toyota man, thats where its at

2. Get the Toyota. No question.

3. Ford. It's American.

4. Your mom should make you buy your own truck.

....

5. I am a Ford person, but mostly because I can not afford a Toyota truck.

Toyota's are usually of higher quality and will probably last you a lot longer with fewer problems than the ford. If you check any sort of consumer rating service, you can see this is backed up by data.

With that said, Ford trucks are not bad either and should last you. If you are planning on doing a bunch of these simple modifications you list, it may end up being easier on the ford.

6. Toyota's are more reliable.

7. First off, if you are going to do all that crap to a car, perhaps she should be buying you one that is several years old instead of letting you ruin a new one.

Second, Ford trucks have a good reputation, probably better than Toyota's which are famous for rust issues.

Third, have you driven both and which one did you like better?
