mounting a 102" whip.?
will mounting the whip between my cab and headache rack in order to keep the height down,make the whip useless?will still have 4 feet over the roof.

1. Most of the signal is radiated from the lower portion of the antenna, since that's where RF current is greatest.Still, your installation will should work fine.
