How do you tell the difference between back pain and kidney infection pain?
I had a kidney infection at the beginning of my pregnancy and my doctor prescribed me an antibiotic to prevent it from coming back and hurting my baby. Well sometimes I forget to take it and now I am experiencing some lower right back pain similar to the pain I had when I had the infection but at the same time i don't know what pregnancy pains feel like. Could i have another infection or is it just from the pregnancy? What do you guys think?

1. Since you had a kidney infection in the past I would talk to you doctor, a simple urine test can determine infection. A kidney infection is pain like on the sides of your lower back near your kidney area, but can radiate around the front of your abdomen, It would be wise just to run it by your doc to make sure :)2. Back pain can be remedied with a heat compress and massage. Kidney pain will not be alleviated this way.
