headache rack help?

well i wanted a headache rack for my pickup but i didnt want to spend the money for one so i built my own but now it blocks the break/cargo light up on the cab, am i gona have to shorten or lengthen it so it doesnt or am i ok
ok i think i remeber have a light laying around i will just mount that to the headache rack and hook it into the one on the pickup
that way we are covered and have nothing to worry anout

1. lights must not be obstructed

2. Don't worry about it it is not a required light anyway, most headache racks block these lights even store bought ones.

3. maybe you can cut around the cargo light so it wont interfer with the light.
