1. Tylenol only!!!
2. Tylenol is really the only thing you can take. How about some coffee or tea! I know that you can safely take sudefed too!
3. Tynelol. And extra water and lots of rest!!
4. Tylenol
5. Actually it all depends on the type of headache you have. For me, I suffer from sinus headaches. You can take extra strength Tylenol but if you have a sinus headache, which is usually the case with a head cold, you can take Sudafed too. Check with your doctor first before you try it though, because some of them still don't think you should be able to take it. And even though they tell you that you can only take Tylenol, if it doesn't help you at all, you can call your doctor and they can tell you about other things that you can take. Tylenol and warm cloths have helped me so I haven't had to call my doctor, but she told me that if Tylenol just isn't doing it, there are other things I can take. They just want you to take the weakest form of pain relief that works for you as it is generally safest for the baby. You do want to stay away from Aspirin and Ibuprofen for the time being though. Just call your doctor if Tylenol isn't working and if it's a sinus headache, ask them if they will OK Sudafed, the regular stuff, not Sudafed PE or any other type. That's a no no. And as far as dosage goes, for extra strength Tylenol you can take two, but sometimes I have to take 3 at a time and it is still safe. Baby is still healthy and doing well. I hope this helps.
P.S. You can also try other methods to relieve headaches like pressing in between your index finger and your thumb, you can rub your sinuses (the areas beside your nose and in the top corner of your eyes), and you can also try rubbing your neck at the base of your skull. I've also found that putting either a warm or a cold cloth on the forehead while rubbing at the base of the skull can be very soothing! It's a good thing to try while waiting for the medicine to kick in because sometimes waiting for that medicine to work can be agony!
