Cluster headache or?... (HELP)?

A month ago I was out with my friends and we all bought a 40. (I haven't drankin any alchohol for a full month before this) The only 40 I ever get is Cobra, but I decided to change it up. So I got a Colt 45. I came home later and decided to finally open it up and start drinking. I only drank a quarter of it becasue I didn't like it. The next day in the shower I felt a tingiling sensation around the top left part of my lip. I finished showering and noticed the tingling was spreading. About 15 minutes, from the whole top left side of my lip, all the way to top of my nose, under my eye and my cheek was ALL numb. The whole top of my mouth was numb and so were the teeth. I had a REALLY bad headache on the same side of the numbness, I really didn't have that much pain behind my eye though (some though). It wasn't watering or red. I didn't have sinus drainage either. (Even though I had a sinus infection.) .I told my dad and we went to the hospital. I got a cat scan, came back clear. While waiting for the cat scan though the pain and numbess went completely away. I did end up finding out though I had a sinus infection. The doctor told me it was a cluster headache. Which I don't believe after all my research. Really none of the symptoms match. I have never had this happen to me again. Its been a month now since it happened and I am curious to what it was. I want to be able to go out and drink without having to worry about this happening again. If I drink do you think this will happen again? Could it have been some kind of Migrain? Could it have something to do with the new alchohol I drank? Was It because I had a sinus infection? asdfghjkl.... Help. I am 18 years old and a male.

1. I don't know what happened to you, but I get cluster headaches and you're right that this doesn't sound at all like them. Good luck figuring out what is up but personally I'd think you wouldn't still be having such strong effects from the alcohol on the next day so maybe it was unrelated. Anyway there's no way that's a cluster headache without a teary eye, runny nose, and pain so bad you literally cannot sit still. Also, I've never heard of anybody with a cluster headache being numb like that either.
