I have been experiencing localized headaches between right eye and ear. Cluster headache?
Or is this different. It intensifies at onset like a knife but if I put pressure on spot on rub neck on that it takes the edge off.
What could be cause? Like 3 in 3 days.

1. It is caused by tight neck muscles and that is why you get relief from rubbing your neck like that. Headaches are caused by tight neck muscles. they go to the top of your head for its movements and when the muscles are tight at the top they pull on other muscles that go around your brain. When those muscles get tight they give you pain, your headache. When tight they pull on the area where they are attached to your head, and that is between your eye and ear. To get rid of the pain completely, since you know how to get rid of it partially, you have to free up the neck muscles and the pain will be gone and here's how to free them up:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about two minutes, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
