Flying flags from an automobile?

I have a 79' F150 with 36" Iroks, and I want to make the truck more distinctive. I would like to install a headache rack (Bed roll bars cost too much) and I would like to mount some 3'x5' flags on it. I was thinking about one on each side. Are there any regulations saying that this would obstruct a drivers view or distract others? I live in Vermont. I either want to have a bigfoot flag, Ford, or Summit racing, paired with the Colors that fly and proud, the red the white and blue.

1. i can't ask a question because its saying that yahoo answers is unavailable but how can other people answer question

2. could look redneck... but go with small ones

3. The 3' by 5' flags are too big because they restrict peripheral vision. Each state has different laws regarding required vision, so check the Vermont DMV for the law. Note that if you drive to New Hampshire or New York, you must respect the state law there too.
