1. Honestly, drinking a very cold Coke will help.

2. Beer... I recommend Coors Gold

3. Place your index and middle finger where your pain is on your head and apply pressure for a few mins. move about an inch and repeat pressure and repeat this patteren until you reach the base of your skull. After one rep of this you may want to try it again. You will get some relief . That or a cold pack.

4. Only to use an anti inflammatory pain reliever and put ice on your neck area. Then heat if you need to. Keep alternating back and forth with the heat and ice.

5. Sounds funny, but it depends upon which area of the head hurts.

6. My chiropractor showed me the pressure points in the facial area and when you apply it, it relieves the pain.

7. IB Profen does wonders.
And avoiding looking at lights.

8. Divorce

9. I agree with the temple-massaging and finding the spots on your head that feel good. A gentle massage at the base of the skull helps with headaches, but the muscles have to be relaxed, so it's very difficult to give yourself a massage at the base of your head - you could have someone help you with it?

Drink a lot of water. Some headaches are just dehydration.

If you can have someone do this for you it's better, but you could do it for yourself - take the thumb of one hand and use it to apply firm pressure between the thumb and index finger of your other hand. Not right on the webbing, but as far back as you can reach. It's best to have someone else do this so they can do both hands at once. The pressure should be pretty firm!

And if you're massaging anywhere, make sure you RELAX while you're doing it. Dim lights, comfy recline, etc.

Are you waking up with a headache every morning? If so, you could be clenching your teeth while you sleep. Dentist time?

10. dehydration is a very common cause for headaches. Try 2 glasses of gatoraid, or poweraid, some drink with electrolytes in it. Or just drink 2 - 3 glasses (8oz) and lay down for about half an hour, drink more water when you get up. Caffeinated beverages tend to draw water out of you and dehydrate you, so you need to drink even more water if you are drinking coffee, or colas...etc.

11. Is it stress? Is it sinus? If it is stress, pull the back of your hair the lowest part of the back. That will ease it. If it is sinus, then squeeze the skin between your thumb and first finger and gently massage it. Either of these will help but it depends on what kind of a headache you have. You can get headache patches from Wal-Mart if all else fails...good luck. I hope that you get rid of your headache for good!!
