1. since your headaches aren't very severe, you can try feverfew as soon as you feel the symptoms. since this is a natural remedy, you can take it every few hours during your symptoms. visit a masseuse or chiropractor during a headache.

2. I have read from a health guide that eating any form of artificial sweets will help the body produce a certain fluid that will temporarily relieve you of any sort of pain (including head-aches), and will boost your strength for a moment.

Hope that helps.

3. Ice packs, (gel kind)

4. massage works wonders, especiall for a tension headache. if it's a tension headache, massage right below your skull on your neck all the way across. all other headaches, massage your temples. look up stuff about pressure points, there's supposed to be a spot between your thumb and first finger that relieves headaches too. i think pressure point therapy is about as natural as it gets

5. I've heard of sex being a good cure for headaches many times, whether it's true or not i don't know, but at least it's a good distraction!!

6. I use those neck things that you can microwave or freeze that has the herbs in it (lavender, etc...). Peppermint oil on the temples or on a damp washcloth over the forehead. And of course a cool pad that you can buy from the store that stick on your forehead or ice pack.

7. A nice nap.

8. for migraines, i've heard feverfew is good. i haven't tried it, but i've heard that a lot.

an obvious one - drink lots of water. especially since many headaches are caused by dehydration.

and if you're not opposed to *all* medicine, there are some meds that help to *prevent* headaces, especially migraines. i just got on one, topamax, but haven't been on it long enough to tell you how well it works. and if anybody tries that particular drug, make sure you start slow, slow, slow and stay at the lowest effective dose. because as the guy at crazymeds.org (a great site for psych med info from people who've taken the stuff) if you're on too much Topamax or start too fast "it'll make you dumber than a box of rocks." and that's the truth. i took it once for bipolar issues, started too fast and it dropped my IQ 20 points at least for about a week. but if you're on the right dose, you'll be cool.

9. Put 1 finger on each of ur temples and massage in circles. Do it slowly. Then, wif a lil preasure, drag ur fingers to the back of ur ears, where there is a lil 'lump' located. Circle towards the 'lump' (which would actually be the part that steady's urself) n then, directly under the lump, add more preasure. Leave ur fingers there for a few seconds and then pull away. Go through the steps once again.

I hope dis helps!!! It really works for me!

10. i usually sleep/sweat them off by going to bed and throwing on long-jons and a thick blanket. when i wake up i'm the headache is gone and i've sweated up a storm cleaning the pores.

11. Pinch the area between the thumb and index finger and hold for a few minutes.

Get an oxygen mask and breathe 100% O2 through a non rebreather mask.

Inhale gently for a count of 8. hold for a count of 8. and exhale for a count of 16.

At the beginning of a headache you can put ice on your neck
and put your feet in hot water. The aim is to draw the blood
away from the head to stop the pounding.

Sometimes a little caffeine can help, try a cup of green tea.

Take a shower and make sure to breathe hot steam for 5-10 minutes.

It depends on the type of headache you are having. avoid trigger foods such as aged meat, bananas, chocolate, nuts, onions, aged cheese, raisins, and yogurt. Also hormones can trigger a headache

12. If you are a good feeler then you can press your nerves on top of the nose between eyebrows. Then press behind the neck in the back , then below the ears the glands then on top middle of the head press it with your palm . While you are doing this compression technique you will notice that the pain is traveling from one point to another do this for 5 or 6 minutes in rotation based on the feelings along the path of the pain of the nerves. If you do this the headache would vanish very quickly. In addition any pain balm mixed with some coconut oil ( to spread it evenly and lightly) may be applied on all the pressing points and this will be more soothing and the relief would be quicker.

13. I heard dark chocolate works

14. Besides masaging the temples get someone to pull your hair, i know it sounds stupid but my wife does it to me and I to her and never would of believed it but aftr taking a bottle of asprin every other day I decided to try it and it worked. Pull in a group one part at a time not where it hurts to much but just enough to give a slight pain hold it for two minutes then go to another spot, it makes it go away in just a few minutes I don't have a clue as to why but it works. hope it will help you. Also have someone rub your neck and sholder blades if yo have knots in the joints you have a problems of latic acid buld up and need to have the neck and sholdler blads massaged. hope this helps.

15. Headache appear to be caused by abnormal constriction and dilation of blood vessels supplying the brain. Trigger point therapy to the affected muscles and intake of micronutrients such as nicotinic acid, magnesium plus vitamin B6, Omega 3 fatty acid and calcium plus vitamin D3 may be helpful. it is also imporatnt to watch your diet and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
I am a practising myotherapist in Singapore

16. Drink a hot cup of Chamomile Tea, it is used to naturally take care of headaches, and used to relax and make the body feel a type of euphoric state of relaxation. No sugar to be added, Also it is a great sleep aide!!! Good Luck!!!

17. If it is chronic there is only acupuncture treatment available which yields good results.
Villagers treat it with some herbal drops pl see if possible.
For acute ha pl find a painful point behind your thumb nail. Press that point with courage- very painful- or ask others to do so. Headache will disappear within a few seconds.

18. try nurofen plus from their website www.nurofenplus.com it's got 12.8mg codeine & 200mg of ibuprofen. It's really cheap to buy and I haven't had an issue with it. They also have a really good shipping guarantee where they will guarantee that they get it through customs.

19. Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

20. Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
