Why do I have headaches in the lower back of my head?

It feels more like a pressure than an ache, but it's uncomfortable. It's not from excercise because, um, i haven't been excercising at all lately. Lol. I did go out and walk around an outdoor mall today and it was very hot, but this didn't start till much later in the day, so i don't think they're connected. It also seems to travel from the lower back to my temples and back again randomly. Any help?

1. Could be a multitude of things. Dehydration, tension radiating from your shoulders and neck, you could be coming down with a virus, lack of sleep, menstrual cycle, sleeping in a strange position...

2. Causes of Headaches vary tremendously, it could be, lack of excercise, stress, pressure origionating from your teeth(grinding at night, clenching during the day) If these headaches have been going on for a while it could be because of blood vessel abnormalities or a nerve disorder. try and watch your diet, there might be a specific food that you ate thats triggering your headache.. pin pointing the cause of a headache is next to impossible with out the right tests, i mean, headaches at the back of the head has even been linked to pregnancy. if the pain persists, or returns often, i would reccomend making an appointment with your docter to conduct tests and further discuss the possible causes of your headaches..

3. Stress most likely. I knew someone who moved across the country and had what you are describing. It could be dehydration also.
