Are headache tablets actually effective cures and/or relief for headaches?

Or is the success dependent on other factors, such as the placebo effect and the fact that headaches usually go away after a certain period, regardless of taking the headache tablet or not?

How do the headache tablets work exactly? What areas of the body do they influence?

Thanks for information. I was just curious.

1. Acetaminophen does thin out your blood a bit reducing swelling in veins and arteries in your brain that cause headaches but I find I need to get T1's that have 8mg of codeine in them for nay real relief. So to answer your question, acetaminophen yes, ibuprofen I'm not sure.
