what causes knee pain when bending my knee?
i was getting my 9 month old out of the car when i got sudden sharp pain in my knee...the pain didnt occur with walking, mostly just with getting up and down from sitting and going up and down stairs. i also had pain when scooting my chair forward or backward while sitting in it. basically, i have pain when bending my knee and putting weight on it...the pain subsided by the time i went to see my doctor (general practitioner). about a week after the initial pain, i began a long drive (17 hr trip) and the pain started to return...i also started to have swelling and pain in general just with movement..i would wake up with pain every time i moved during the night...by the 2nd day of the trip, i could not bend my knee enough to put my sock on...now, 5 days later, the pain is subsiding again...anyone know what could be the problem?

1. mostly i see this because of the fraction in a knee, i can not give you names of medicine but if you go to any doctor he can give you it, and you will feel fine after 3 months of taking it,
2. I have a similar problem and was diagnosed with arthritis and disintegration of the joints and cartilage. I also have lower back spinal discs which are deteriorated making it difficult to lift my legs as well. They called it multiple arthresia. The specialists told me it was a hereditary disease where the immune system attacks the joints, I don't understand it completely, but it is a genetic defect. Blood work and other tests will help determine the problem. It is expensive to see specialists and get referrals, but is worth it if you have medical insurance to cover it. There is a point where it becomes intolerable and you have to do something about it. I take pain killers when it gets really bad, but I will have to do something before too long. I use Vicotin when it is unbearable, but that is not a long term solution. I still have to work and narcotic medications alter your ability to think coherently. An noninflammatory pain medicine like Mobic may work for you and takes several days before it works. It is hard on the stomach and digestive system. I have a hard time lifting my legs or washing my back in the shower. I usually lay back on my bed and dress myself. It sucks but you have to do what you have to do. I know what it feels like. If you have to drive, use the cruise control, but the problem is people speed up and slow down and you have to turn the cruise control off and reset the resume. If you have insurance, get checked out. It's not pleasant, but that is life. Pain sucks and when I hurt enough, I go to the hospital or doctor. I have an appointment tomorrow because I'm hurting really bad. Best luck to you.
