severe lower back pain?

I have had fibromyalgia for 18 years. I started doing stretching excersises a little over a week about. The drs kept telling me for years yoga and swimming. I am finally taking the suggestion. I threw out my back most likely from the stretching and over did it. I have been icing for 2 days and now alternating ice and heat. They called me in some flexeril. I feel a little better today. I did this 3 days ago. The dr said if I am not better in a week to come in. Now my question is I woke up with a swollen hand, no numbness or pain. I figure a bug bite. Would this have anything to do with my back? and I was wondering how would I know if I slipped a disk? or did somthing serious, symptom wise?

1. Hi! a swollen hand can be due to some allergy, usually accompanied by itching or slight burning or perhaps u slept at a bad angle, that can cause temporary pooling of blood, but it usually subsides with correction of posture.
For your back,X-Ray is important,to rule out the position &condition of your spine.

2. change your bed.
