Headache Relief?
I have had this headache for three weeks on/off but its throughout the day, everyday-I take tylenol, advil, everything. Nothing even touches it. So I started taking double doses and even that isn't relieving my pain. I have tried all I can think of...I don't really want to go to the doc, I am just wondering what are some home remedy ideas for relief?!

.Hey there... I am in the same boat as you and I learned the best relief for a chronic headache is Fioricet or butalbital. Fioricet Overnight is a barbiturate sedative mixed with a non-aspirin pain medication and caffeine. Fioricet Overnight non-narcotic pain medication and relaxant is often prescribed for tension headaches caused by contractions of the muscles in the neck and shoulder area, and migraine. I buy fioricet Online without a prior prescription which cuts down on the dr. office visit. FioricetOvernight.com is US licensed and located. So you can order Overnight relief with confidence.
2. honey, do you have sinus trouble? allergies? Try taking a sinus medicine with advil or tylenol in it and see if that helps...good luck - but honestly if that doesn't do the trick you really need to see a doctor - you don't want anything serious to be wrong and you not know about it.
3. i actually had to go to the doc for mine and he gave me some meds for it . but a chiropractor works wonders also . i know i delt with them for over a yr . and they really drag you down . please see a doc .
4. Sounds like stress - As a Certified Hypnotherapist I see it all the time - medication only temporarily or sometimes not a all helps....you need to de stress....if you want further direction, let me know...in the meantime...look at a wall and find a fixed spot...concentrate on that spot and only that spot.....relax and breath normally......do this for about 5-10 minutes...should lessen the throbbing..
5. Don't double dose on pain reliever! It's bad for your liver. See a Doctor it could be serious.
6. Are your neck and shoulders really tense and knotted up? When I'm really stressed, my muscles there bunch up and I get headaches until I can loosen them. If that's whats happening to you try a few things:
Take a really hot shower, letting the water concentrate on your neck and shoulders. Try to stretch the muscles and massage them. Put a heating pad on that area while watching tv or relaxing. Usually this helps me, even when meds dont.
7. 1st - Water .. Running your body low on water is like running your car low on oil - overheats and can stop (headache/migraine) all together.
2nd - Molasses .. instead of reaching for the pain meds relax the muscles causing it. (just a swig or two to replenish the magnesium and potassium it is screaming for.)
3rd - Read .. there is a book called The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies that teaches you how to deal with muscles, pain and referred pain caused by muscles.
