1. cal la pharmacist just to be sure.

2. Yes, should be fine if you don't feed her for awhile. I took it and it never hurt my son

3. My mother took it while breastfeeding, and hey, I'm a bit crazy but isn't everyone!?!

4. call the doctor first. a lot of these off limits pills are because they can dry up your milk. If that's the case, then the question is... do you risk drying up over a headache? If that is ok, then no problem.

5. Here is some general information about OTC (over the counter) drugs and breastfeeding--remember, though, that drug manufacturers often change their active ingredients, so always read the label carefully and/or consult your health care provider before taking any drug when you are nursing.

Analgesics: avoid extra-strength formulas--Aleve, Anacin-3 Regular Strength, Tempra, Tylenol (Acetaminophen), and Excedrin are generally safe. Motrin and Advil (Ibuprofen) are ok if the dose is 400mg or less.

I have to take Excedrin too because nothing else works for my headaches, never had a problem.
.

6. As long as there is no aspirin, you're good. I wonder if you have a headache from mild dehydration? OTC headach meds will not dry you up, but being in pain will eventually dry up your milk. This happens frequently to me (also breastfeeding), and I have to cure it with Motrin, coffee, healthy food and LOTS of water. Good luck.

7. that sounds OK, but next pediatriican appt. you may want to get a list of 'better' OTC remedies.
