Can a tension headache cause you to feel like........?
the blood is rushing to your head when you stand up? I am convinced that I have a tension headache or my sinuses are messing with me but sometimes when I stand up it feels like the blood is rushing to my head and it feels extremely tight but it only lasts for a few seconds.What could this be????

1. Its pretty common to feel that way when you have a headache. Its just important that if it hurts when you stand up like that, don't do it. If you need to stand up, do it slowly. i feel the same way when I get a migraine, every movement hurts my head. Even stopping the car too fast makes it feel like tons of blood is running to the front of my brain. I recommend you take an Advil, relax, and lay down. Don't worry about it too much unless the pain gets to be too much o bear.
