pain in back of head?

I've had this pain in the back of my head for about a week. it is not a headache but more of a constant pain tha starts where the big bone is in the back of the head and goes down into the neck. When I turn my head I hear a clicking noise. I was wondering if it could be a form of arthritis. I am 77 years old. Has any one else experienced this? Any advice will be gtreatly appreciated.

1. You can take fish-oil capsules 2 in the morning 2 for lunch and 2 at night
do some gentle movement exercises
Keep a nice warm scarf around your neck
and also check with the GP
You could have court a draft during the night or pulled one of your muscles as well.
Necks are fairly delicate.

2. It could be arthritis, but it could be a pinched nerve or a pulled muscle.

You're best to see a doctor who can tell you what to do next.

Good luck.
