What are the best exercises to reduce back pain?
Does anybody know of any good exercises that require little activity however make your back muscles stronger? It cannot involve heavy lifting especially weights as I have a two way spine curvature, thanksssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

1. You can lay on the floor and do the cobra yoga pose, it gives the back a good stretch.
2. get on all fours (like a dog) and raise your left arm and right leg (so both are straight out) hold for 2 seconds and repeat for 12 then do the right arm and left leg.make sure when you lift them you are keeping your spine straight and your limbs are raised level with your shoulder and hip, no higher. If this is too much for you lie on your front with your arms out in front of you (like superman) again raise one arm and the opposite leg buy 3-4 inches hold then lower back down.
both of these will help strengthen the mussel either side of your spine, giving your spinal cord extra support.

3. you can't make neurogenically weak muscles strong by exercising them. see an hio method upper cervical specific chiropractor.
4. Never do exercises suggested on this site as you always need diagrams or pictures before you start a new program. You could get injured or have additional pain. Search on the Internet for Back Stretching Exercises. You will find them and again make sure you have instructions and pictures. These should be simple,quick and done routinely. If done regularly they will lessen pain and strengthen the back. The success of the program is to be consistent with the exercises.
