What is the best tension headache reliever?
I've tried a few different meds and none take it away completely.

1. If you mean medicine, Advil. Otherwise, try any type of rhythmic exercise---not jerky routines, but more like deep breathing exercises (look for "pranayam" which is one of the Yogic breathing exercises and works wonders for tension headaches.
If this happens frequently to you, get yourself checked---it may be more than tension.
2. REST!! Take naps every now and then and relax sometimes, too much activity can cause the brain to get over worked and tired too. You just need some rest every once in while.
3. Excedrin seems to work for me, just like the commercial say it only takes 30 minutes to work, it's wonderful!
4. please dont think me rude but a nice night of love making.. they say and i agree it is a great stess reducer.. unless this is the soruce of the stress lol or a day of daydreaming of or a hot shower, moltrin and a nap. or get rid of your stress i know ez r said then done.. any relaxing skills you have use them.. a warm neck wrap.or there is a cream mixture your doc could prescrib.. absorbs into your skin.. helps to relax your muscels.. hope this helps a bit i have and use the cream feel free to e mail for more info if need be

Asprin works well just don't take it on an empty stomach!Try your pressure points (the meat of the thumb (between you thumb and pointer finger) press down hard for about 20sec then do other hand)
