Last year was admitted in Children's medical center for possible
acute kidney failure, magically reversed 3 weeks after being admitted
and was released w/o further treatment. ~ Is it possible it's back?
Should a doctors appointment be made - or a trip to the emergency room?

Public Comments

1. You need to go for a regular health check ups..

2. Go to the hospital, I guess the emergency room would be best because you could have something very serious going on based on your medical history. Those symptoms don't sound good.
Go get some medical attention and feel better!

Even if nothing is seriously wrong, at least you can feel a little more at ease. Ask your parents to take you to the hospital as soon as you can!

3. Kidney problems from diabetes? Avoid sugar and high carb meals. all carbohydrates turn into sugar. brown urine is a sign your kidneys are failing.
Get tested. there's lots to learn.
diabetes is the most common cause of kidney failure.

4. Well, i agree that you must see doctor immediately, your symptoms are very related to a kidney problems.

A primary function of the kidneys is to make urine, if for any reason then your kidneys have a problem the quickest and surest way to know is via the urine, and your urine has appear "very dark",
that's not good.
And about extreme lower back pain, Since your kidneys are located on the right and left side of the spine just above your hips pain from your kidneys will be in your lower back area, and the pain obviously ache

Tired all the time - When a kidney infection occurs and kidneys begin to fail they stop making a hormone called erythropoietin. This hormone is required in the production of the oxygen carrying red blood cells. So with a kidney infection there will be less erythropoietin, less red bloods cells and less oxygen making you feel fatigued.

Hope this helpful
