recommendations for getting rid of a tension headache?

I get tension headaches pretty easily, mostly caused by stress. Besides the usual remedies of drinking water, taking tylenol, etc., is there anything else I can do?

1. Go to a chiropractor! I used to get the worst headaches, but I started going to a chiropractor and they are all better! yay!

2. Roll your shoulders and your neck, use cold packs, and Aleve beats Tylenol by a mile.

I also have one of those shiatsu machines that massage the neck, which has saved me a lot.

3. Vitamin B complex can help your body cope better with stress, can help prevent the headaches or stop them being so bad.

4. i started taking zoloft 50mg for anxiety and it has helped my headaches so much! if i feel that i am getting one prior to the medicine my dr prescribed me i tried to take a hot bath, several aleeve and just rested. worse case ones i would make myself throw up and felt better. since you are getting them from stress i would recomend getting a medication from your dr for anxiety. :)
