If someone is making payments on a truck and totals the truck in a roll over....?
Hey
I had let my truck go through a payment option with a friend, He then had sold my headache rack off of it (truck not being paid for)
He had gave 900 in total (600 first month and the next month 300)
He also did not Insure it nor get it registered
then he had got into a rollover (flipping 3 times)
the car is left with just only parts.
It was stuck in the impound for 30 days. and they have charges and also the tow fee
I DONT KNOW WAT to do!
He then asks to grab his cd player out of it today and offer me 50 dollars and give me another 50 dollars later??
What should i do!

1. Ask for the rest of the amount owed plus towing/storage fees otherwise you will have to sue him. But since you and him did not "officialy" make a sale you might be out of luck and money.2. Don't let him get anything out of the car. You will need to take him to court most likely. If you signed over the title to him then you have proof that the car was sold. He would be responsible for the remaining amount he owed along with the fees for Impound. Short of taking him to court there is not a lot you can do.
