What is the difference between a tension headache and a sinus headache?
Public Comments
1. A tension headache usually begins in the back of your head just above your neck. Your neck usually feels tight and/or maybe stiff. A sinus headache will be in the front around your eyes and nose. The sinus headache usually can be reduced by taking some kind of antihistamine along with a pain killer such as tylenol or aspirin. If you are a child or a teenager you should use tylenol. The same is true for a tension headache you should not use aspirin. If you are an adult then it would be OK to use aspirin. If either of these continue for more than a week you should make an appointment with your physician to get to the bottom of why you are having them.
