Is there any connection between fibromyalgia and diet?

I only ask because I am hurting and miserable and desperate.

I don't eat badly, but out of curiosity, I investigated this on the internet yesterday and I ended up at something called the 'Living Diet'. That is a raw, vegan diet. I don't think that sounds healthy. Maybe for a cow.

Has anyone had any success with avoiding a food, or adding a supplement?

Or anything else, for that matter? I have epilepsy that isn't well controlled with meds and fibromyalgia. It's a little much. I would love to know how to control the pain.

Cymbalta isn't working and, at least here in Oregon, every doctor is afraid that if they give a suffering
person pain reliever, they'll become a drug addict.

Thanks for any help.

if you don't eat good--your body will have a harder time dealing with FMS

often people with food allergies or vitamin deficiencies are misdiagnosed with fms..

the ketogenic diet has worked for epilepsy..

the anti seizure meds are also used for FMS---but it may be tricky since you have both
