Can Acidophilus make the back of your head hurt. ?
Ive been taking these daily for my yeast infection and two or three hours after taking it i get a headache in the back of my head, it eventually goes way later in the afternoon . i don't want to stop taking them because i believe they've been helping and giving me a bit more energy..........................has anyone expirienced this before and is this normal. ?

1. It's definitely very unusual... I've never heard of that happening before. Acidophilus is one strain of beneficial bacteria that lives in your intestinal tract so it wouldn't really get into your blood stream to get to your head... but there may be excipients in the capsule/tablet that you're allergic to that's causing the pain or it may be coincidence.
If it happens every time you take it, you could try skipping it one day to see if you get a headache (just in case it's something else that happens around the same time you take it), but it sounds like you're allergic to something in it and I'd recommend finding another product. It might take larger amounts of yogurt or just buying another bottle of pills from your local health food store that doesn't have the same "other ingredients", but if you're allergic to something in the pill, you just need to find an alternative to avoid the effect.
