does anybody know how to get rid of a bad sinus headache? I have taken aleve and tylenol for a week. Thank y?
I have had a bad sinus headache for one week now. I have taken aleve and tylenol everyday. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

1. You might want to talk to a doctor about that since your headache has lasted so long. Even the instructions on Aleve and Tylenol say that.In the meantime, drink plenty of water and try to eat good nutritious food. It might also help to get out for a walk and some fresh air. Feel better soon!
2. Drink a lot of water and fruit juices to thin out the mucus.
Place some ice in a plastic bag, then wrap that in a towel and put that on your face. You can alternate the ice pack with a very warm washcloth or heating pad (again wrapped in a towel.) The alternating heat and cold may break up the 'clog.'
Since it has lasted a week, I would also suggest that you see a doctor for an antibiotic. You probably have a sinus infection.
3. In all likely hood you probably have a Sinus Infection and need Amoxicillin or some other Antibiotic to combat a bacterial infection. Don't waste anymore time seeking medical attention, Sinus infections can result in a more serious problem if left untreated.. Normally the Doc would order an Ex-ray to confirm diagnosis then prescribe the antibiotics you need.
