what would cause a headache in the back oof your head>?

i had many medical tests 5 years ago and nothing was found...i dont' think anything serious could have developed that quickly? anyways...i've been having odd headaches in the back of my head...expecially when i laugh...they are so bad when i laugh that i have to stop what i'm doing. they're only in the back...

then, i've been lightheaded a lot lately. i thought it was due to an upcoming 'monthly' but i haven't gotten my monthly in 2 months (but there's NO chance i'm prego) i've always been lightheaded and the doctors 5 years ago chocked it off to anxiety. so it has bugged me off and on, but nothing major until recently. i have been under stress, but even when i'm not under stress i get lightheaded. had a scary incident at work the other day when i just got really tired and felt like i wasn't there and started messing stuff up that i usually do very well in...that worried me. i did just graduate and i know im stressed, but i still worry it could be pointing to a brain tumor or something of the sort. my only symptoms (probably most unrelated) are persistant acid reflux, tiredness, lightheadedness, headaches in back of head, backache. it really worries me about what it could be, but like i said, i had tons of tests 5 years ago. wouldnt' anything serious had been detected then? i dont' see how something as serious as a tumor or cancer would develop in only 5 years after a completely normal test....usually those things take much longer. plus, i have looked all over the internet and i can't find anything about headaches in the back of the head and lightheadedness and tiredness other than pregnancy symptoms, which i couldn't be since i had a monthly after the last time i "did it" and i haven't been gaining tons of weight or anything...3 months into a pregnancy and i SHOULD know if i would be or not, ya know? sigh...it is mainly these headaches and lightheadedness that bother me...is it possible to tell if someone has a tumor through blood tests? mri's are so expensive for my father to pay for and it seems stupid for me to go get one just for symptoms that have lasted only about a month off and on when i'm under stress and it's probably just stress doing it, but i still wonder if it could be the symptoms of a brain tumor or cancer or something. anyone have the same symptoms ever and if so, what were your diagnosis?
thanks!

1. Tension headaches, the most common type, feel like a constant ache or pressure around the head, especially at the temples or back of the head and neck.

2. If the lightheadedness had been attributed to anxiety before, I'm sure that's what it is now. Your headaches sound like tension headaches, and are probably not related to the lightheadedness. If you are just graduating and stressed, that's probably why you are seeing the increase in this feeling, as well as an increase in the headaches. Have you tried Excedrin for the headaches? Your fatigue is also probably related to stress. Even if you are not acutely stressed, the fact that you are going through a very stressful transition period can contribute to these symptoms. None of your symptoms are indicative of any sort of brain tumor. I would seek the advice of your primary care physician for more information.
