I have strep throat but I woke up with a stiff neck and a headache at the back of my head. What is this?

IT started with a sore right tonsil, I was a bit nauseated but this morning I woke up with a stiff neck and a bit of a headache at the back of my head but it only hurts when I move my head. Is this something serious or is it just from sleeping in a weird position? I also have some antibiotics that I have been taking since yesterday.

2. Stay on the medication, until you finish your prescription. If you need something in addition to the antibiotics, call your doctor and ask him/her. Sometimes, it takes awhile for the strep to be completely knocked out. Good luck!
