Chronic knee pain. Clicking knees.?

I'm 14 and I have had chronic knee pain in both my knees for over a year now. My left is a little worse than my right knee. My knee hurts on a scale one to ten about a seven normaly. The always hurt. Even when resting. I've been ingured it or done anything to them they just started hurting more and more over time. They never have swelled before. They click almost always when I straighten them. I can't keep my knees bent for a long period of time. They give out every once and awhile. I went to my pediatrician a few months back and my doctors didn't make me walk or even roll up my jeans. he just asked me questions and told me it was osgood schlatters disease. Which to me doesn't make sense. Before i choose to do tennis I want to go to a orthopedic doctor but i haven't yet. Any one have any guess what this could be?

1. It sounds like it could be lack of cartilage at your knee joints. An x-ray should easily answer that question. If it is lack of cartilage, you may be talking knee supplements or knee replacement.

2. i used to have that too and im a fourteen yr old female.
my doctor said that its common in females our age to have this. it was some kind of knee displacement.
he sent me to therapy to do some exercises that helped a lottt
