What is a good way to get rid of a migraine headache without taking any medications and isn't expensive?
I am going into a breast reduction surgery in ten days (January 26th) and can't take any medications except Tylenol which I've built up an immunity to so it doesn't work. I suffer from migraine headache and was wondering if anyone knew any CHEAP ways to get rid of migraine headaches.

1. I know that i'm probably going to sound completely dirty..but.
having an Orgasm helps with getting rid of horrid headaches.
But, not everyone is the same.

2. cause extreme pain on another part of your body and you'll completely forget about the migraine
3. eat ice cream fast, after the brain freeze it works for me
4. Migraines, like plain old headaches, are caused by tight neck muscles. They go to the top of your head and when tight they pull on other muscles that go around your head. When they are tight and in pain you have your headache. Migraines are pinched tighter and can cause other problems, like with the eyes. That happens because the nerves for the eyes go to the back of the head, passing right next to the neck muscles. When the neck muscles are tight they can press into the nerves to give you pains on the back of your eyeballs. More pressure will cause the pupils to dilate to make you sensitive to light. These pains can be gotten rid of by freeing up your neck muscles and here's how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about two minutes, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
I don't know if you are having the surgery because of back pains that they think are caused by your breasts, they aren't. Back pains are pinched muscles in your back and they can be gotten rid of by freeing up your back muscles, and here's how to do that:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side. For both- for best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
5. I know you said cheap, but I myself am a migraine sufferer and don't have a lot of money. I went out and bought the stuff because of all the stuff I read about it. The stuff I bought was "Oil of Oregano" and it cost me $35 for 13.5 ml at Walmart. I gave you the link to an article about it and where other people have wrote about their experiences with it. To take the oil: at the onset of a migraine you put three drops under your tongue. It seems most people follow this with fruit juice chasers because the taste is just awful. That is all you do. The people that use the oil say that they can use the oil as a replacement for migraine abortive drugs, like triptans.
The other thing I can offer you to try is "Japanese Mint Oil". I personally use this quite often. I just rub it on wherever I feel I need it, as often as I need it. It really just lifts the pain away, and feels oh so good. It sometimes only brings temporary relief, but then I just keep reapplying. This oil was much less expensive than the other oil I bought. It was only about $20 for 35ml.
Good luck with fighting the migraines without medications before surgery! I sure hope you get some good responses on here, you sure are getting some bad ones.
