Group that helps Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome...?

I have a friend who has both fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. She has been denied disablitiy benfits, twice by letters and once where she had to go to a hearing. She is a really good person, in a very bad situatuion, not some lazy druggy trying to get free money. She just wishes for income so she can pay for medication, cost of living and college loans. The court says they won't even be able to make a decesion until 2012 or 2013, and then that still doesn't mean she'll get the money then, if she gets any.

The question I have is are there any programs that will help, support, loan, or give her money or help so she can get a income, cheaper med.'s, anything etc. One preferably that specifically helps people with her conditions, she really likes horses to, so any program please.

Thank you for reading, and helping!

1. Not sure about programs out there, but drug companies give free medications or discounted medications to low income people. Just find out who makes the drugs she is taking and go to the drug companies web site and you will find the information. I don't really see why she cannot work if she is taking the medication. I know several people with fibromyalgia (my mom for example) that are taking medication that work and live normal lives. Sure they may be tired (more rest and medication helps), sure they may still have some pain, but they can still work and live their life.

2. for meds

welfare cash assistance,food stamps,energy assistance...

3. First, let's try to get rid of the fibromyalgia. We have found that a 2-3 week diet, along with natural supplements, can often eradicate fibromyalgia. Learn all about it at http://fibromyalgia-irritable-bowel-candida-support.com/fibromyalgia.aspx

If she takes Morinda Supreme, Melia Supreme, Lurong, and Takesumi while going on an anti-fungal diet for 2-3 weeks, most likely she will be able to work and not have these issues. Isn't that a better solution?

4. I received my disability benefits for Fibromyalgia, etc. two years ago, by the help of a lawyer I "stumbled upon" online. However I'm not where I can get his name or address and won't be able to get it until later this week. His assistants were wonderful and they handled everything over the phone because they were on the West Coast (and I'm in MO) without either one of us going to court. She doesn't pay anything if he doesn't help her and if he does, then the Social Security Dept. will deduct that from her back pay before she gets that.
In the meantime, she needs to search online for the manufactures of her medications and locate their "medication assistance programs." Also check with the doctor about any samples he or she may have or may be able get. There may be churches in you area that will help with some of her needs; May God Bless

5. I'm really sorry about your friend. I have FMS and CFS so I can definitely empathize with her. About.com have a website that send out newsletters by email every week or so. The lady who writes them is ever so helpful. http://chronicfatigue.about.com. My mum's emailed her a few times and she's been great. Her name is Adrienne Dellwo. I'm sure she'll help you and your friend if she can.
