Home remedies for a stuffy nose, sore throat and headache?

I don't know what my 3D teacher was thinking, but she decided it would be a good idea to have our class make "Nature art" for 5 hours in the pouring rain... Needless to say, I'm very sick, but I'm also at college and can't see a doctor or go to a pharmacy to get some OTC medicine. Any home remedies to clear up a very nasty cold?

I have hot water, some salt and tea bags. Get creative, thanks!

1. i know you're stuck at home but seriously buy a NETI pot at the drugstore next time you're there. And buy the packets of powder that go with it, if it doesn't come with one. It will clear up your sinuses and detox your throat and nasla passage.

Sorry, don't have any home remedies except water, chicken soup, toast, honey is good for soothing yur throat...and of coarse Advil or tylenol.

2. NETI pot. They are wonderful!

3. Hello,

I find that the best thing to wipe out a sore throat is mega amounts of Vitamin C. In large amounts, it is natures most powerful antiviral, and I have never had a sore throat that didnt meet its death with large amounts of vitamin C.

I would take 3,000-4,000mg of vitamin C until you reach bowel tolerance (feeling of gas, bloating), which indicates that you are saturated with the vitamin. When sick, people can tolerate upwards of 30,000mg+ per day without any problem. This has been made popular by the late Dr. Linus Pauling, winners of 2 unshared Nobel awards, and is commonly known as Orthomolecular medicine. It has been moved forward by Dr. Andrew Saul and you can find more info at www.doctoryourself.com. Best of all, vitamin C helps with over 300 different metabolic functions in the body and is 100% safe with no side effects. I hope this helps!
