Headache in the back of the head on the left side?

For about a week now I have been getting a sharp pain in the back of my head on the left side. The headache usually starts at around 11:30-12 and goes on for about an hour every day. I'm worried and want to know if i should go see a doctor?

1. You are getting that pain because of tight muscles in your neck which go to the top of your head for its movements. The pain is coming from those muscles where they are tight to cause the pain. When tight they also pull on other muscles in your head to surround your brain with pain, your headache. to get rid of the pain you have to free up the muscles in your neck and here's how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about two minutes, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

2. It could be a number of things, from harmless to life-threatening.

The internet is not the place to diagnose medical problems. Since this has been going on for a while, you should get it checked into. Go see the doctor.
