knee pain for a month!?

ive had bad knee pain for a month after camp because i guess i landed wrong when i jumped off a little ledge thingy but it would always go away with ibprofen. so as of now its been about a month since i ot back from camp and my knee has been hurting ever since. the first week i got home i could barely get out of the car let alone get up the steps to my room ( because both knees were hurting then) so 3 weeks into the pain abt a week after both of my knees hurt i was playing neighbor hood tag with my friends ( like hide and seek tag except you cant be seen by your neighbors and you sneak through peoples yards to get to base at night like 11:00) my friend and i were sneaking up behind the guy chasing us to get to base he turned around really fast and my friend didnt know i was so close to her and we both fell but i fell sideways on my knee and my foot was trapped under her and i think my knee twisted. i dont think i felt the pain too soon after i fell but i remember feeling it later that night and it hurt really badly!!!!! it still hurts now and that was about a week ago, it hurts on the left side of my right leg ( if im looking down at it) towards the bottom corner, and whenever i move my kneee i hear it grind, and whenever i walk my knee subluxates which is one of those feelings that annoy you like the nails on the chalkboard kinda. i havent been to the doctor yet because my parents think im a wimp and overreacting but it really hurts!!!!!! i have to go to softball practice and whenever i go it hurts like crazy afterwards and mildly during softball practice. please et me have your opinion, i am not relying on y answeres to give me a diagnosis just some advice!
oh! and my fried kicked me on the side of my knee 2 days ago

1. Chrnoic pain not responding to Ibuprofen needs an Othopaedic consultation

2. Well, it sounds like to me that you should go to the store (a pharmacy) and get one of those knee brace things. In the source below it shows a picture of it and that will help to keep it in place. A orthopedic doctor would tell you the same. You should generally keep this on when you do sports and sometimes I know you said when your sitting you can feel it grinding, you might want to wear it when your sitting too, or just when you feel its grinding. Just interested to know, do you have flat feet, that can effect this, i have flat feet and it affects my knee's, hips, feet (obviously), back and ankles. Let me know if this helps. Hope the advice helped.
