Lower back pain exercises?

I'm a digital artist so I sit in front of the computer all day. My lower back has started to hurt, especially when I bend down or jump around but also sometimes when I stand. Are there any exercises to help get rid of it? Please list some of them if yes or link something related to it instead of just telling me to go see a doctor.

1. Interestingly enough, ab exercises should help your symptoms. Core strength will stabilize your spine. I recommend sit-ups and "superman" exercises: lie on your belly and raise your arms/chest and legs/hips off the ground, hold, release, repeat. There are tons of websites with advice on core strength. Also try Yoga Today (their podcasts are free on iTunes). They have fabulous videos.

2. I do alot of stretching. I have thrown out my back a few times and the Dr. is always telling me to stretch. If you go to the website I have listed, you can request if they can give you specific excerises. If you ask nicely, the will also send you a video showing you how to do the work-outs. lol

If you are like me, words are good, but me seeing how to do something is even better!

3. There are a bunch of stretches/exercises you can do to help reduce back pain. Check out this article and the rest of the website, lots of info that can help: http://www.spine-health.com/wellness/exercise/exercise-and-back-pain
