Can a sinus headache develop into a migraine?

I have really bad allergies, and I get sinus headaches often. They become unbearable and make me sick to my stomach and really sensitive to light.

Someone told me that my sinus headache can develop into a migraine. Is this true?? If so, should i focus on taking sinus medication or migraine medication?? I don't like taking medicine unless it's absolutely necessary.

1. not always, go and see your doctor who would give u some stronger painkillers to take.

2. It can happen faster than you can say "migraine". I would stick to really good sinus medication and if you get a migraine call your doctor for advice or try extra strength Tyllenol (or something of the sort that works for you) if you know it won't interfere with your other medication.
