Exercises to help lower back pain?

Hi, are there any exercises I could try to help strengthen my lower back muscles? I've been getting alot of lower back pain for a couple of years now. I sometimes go swimming and that helps but I don't always have time to go. Thanks x

1. try lying down in the Alexander Technique position

2. Spine stretching and back strengthing exercises are great for back pain.

I had to do these types of exercises for my condition and they work wonders...

4. I know exactly what you are talking about. I hurt my back from many years of jumping around in volleyball. I would go to the trainer frequently and it just felt like my lower back was like scrunched and all I needed was someone to pull me from my feet and shoulders at the same time to un-scrunch me.

My trainer told me about these stretch towel things that you can use to stretch out all the areas of your body that are usually tense. I tried it out and it really helped me. Maybe it could help you out too. I put a link to what I'm talking about in the sources section.

Hope this helps and feel better!
