What is causing my right lower back pain?

I been having constant pain in my lower back on the right side. What can be some causes? I am afraid to take tylenol in case it is my kidneys.
It's been bothering me for a few days now.

1. What do you mean by constant? I had a kidney stone and it felt just like that, except I also was nauseated.

So, it's likely a muscle sprain or kidney stone. Either way, if it's something that's been around for hours go see a doctor.

2. I don't know if your pain is caused by kidney stones, but here's a link with info on back pain and kidney stones http://www.backandneckpainresources.com/category/back-pain/kidney-stones/ . You should really go see a doctor however.
