Foot Pain?
I have been having really bad foot pain along the top of my foot. I'm in cross country and it hurts so bad when I run. It's my right foot. I don't know what's wrong with it. I thought it was my sneakers, but after buying new ones the pain was still there. I've had a orthopedic doctor (if that's what there called) tell me the bottom of my foot is unusually flat, but I don't know if that had anything to do with this. I'm seeing a doctor soon, but is there any information you can share with me beforehand?

1. It looks your flat feet are causing you this foot pain. Having flat feet not only leads to foot pain/fatigue, but more chronic problems with your lower extremities and lower back. If you'd like to try and correct the condition, email me at k.sordo@gmail.com (it'd be free!)
2. Hi, I am a podiatrist (Foot Doctor),
The pain you are experiencing is probably being caused by you having flat feet. Do you have corrective insoles/orthotics?
If you do not I recommend you see your podiatrist and get some made. Does the pain come from the top of your foot, above the arch? Is it a ache or a strong pain? If so, it may be something else, not having flat feet. It is hard to make a diagnosis through the net without seeing your feet.
I recommend you see your doctor/podiatrist before you start running again.
Thanks,
Dr. C
