Would much harder would it be for most people to maintain a strict diet/lifestyle if they had a stressful job?

I've got fibromyalgia and pretty severe dietary strictures, like no gluten, no lactose, no junk food, and no sugar. I find that my self-care falls apart reliably based on the stress level of where I make money (my job). How should I feel about this? How should I approach this? P.S. Of course, employers don't care.

1. Planning your diet should reduce your stress. I have a stressful job but I refuse to let it overtake my life. I am in control because I do regulate what I can.

2. You should really think about what you are doing. I used to disregard my diabetes because of stress (job). Then one day, as I was getting ready for work, I noticed that a toe had turned purple and I then realized that I couldn't feel it. Now, I don't make excuses.

3. Actually following a healthier diet would probably lower your stress at work because a body that is better nourished is better able to handle the stresses of life. True you would have to put more time into preparing for your day but in the long run it will add years to your life to get away from eating poorly.
