I would like to lose weight but I have fibromyalgia?
Are there certain exercises that people with fibromyalgia and back problems can do?? I have something in my back where it pinches when I move a certain way so it's hard for me to do exercises without hurting myself.
Any suggestions??
Also, can I do a 2,000 calorie diet and lose weight? or will that just maintain my weight?

1. eat smaller portion sizes, balance your meals, drink lotsa water, exercise daily, and don't use anything for an excuse. follow up with your doctor.
2. Depending upon your activity levels your heart (as everyone's hearts) uses up about 1,000 calories to keep itself beating and your body running, the less calories you eat the more weight you lose, since its hard for you to exercise I suggest you go just a little below 1,000 calorie diet, making you burn fat to run the heart, but you MUST keep an eye on how you are doing because if you starve yourself too much it could cause damage.
3. any ex is good for fibromyalgia just on the basis that your body releases chemicals to make you feel better, helps fibromyalgia;;; get a lumbar brace for your back & only use it when you exercise;; you'll need specific exercises to strengthen your abdominals & obliques so they can support your back better, then you can go without the brace;; can't help you on the caloire stuff, sorry
