is chronic knee pain a viable condition to get medical marijuana in california?

i have bad knees. no running, crawling, no climbing ladders, stairs are my enemy. anything other than simple sitting in a chair is very painfull. i received these injuries in the US army. i am now a disabled veteran because of my injurie, recieving my VA disability check each month. my local doctors here( florida) have tried prescriptions for all types of pain meds. anything short of opiates just does nothing. the pain is there everytime i bend either knee. i dont want to be addicted to opiates( although they worked great). ive read all bout this new medical marijuana deal going on in california. i have aqquired it personally myself, and it does work, would having chronic knee pain be a viable condition for this new deal in california?

1. Lol - 14 years CA has had this 'new medical marijuana'.
Don't know about the "new deal". You describe a condition eligible for MMJ in CA, doctors are easy to find and provide a VA discount. It won't help you in FL. The VA, is Federal.org, and can't sign the recommendation. You can move to any of the 14 (and counting) States that allow medical marijuana.
